He later made a significant mark in adult animation, creating the acclaimed stop-motion series Moral Orel and Mary Shelley’s Frankenhole for Adult Swim. Stamatopoulos is also known for his role as Star-Burns on NBC’s Community, where he served as both a recurring actor and a consulting producer. Beyond writing and acting, he co-founded the animation studio Starburns Industries, which produced the Oscar-nominated film Anomalisa.
